Today I wanted to talk to you all about vitamin c. It is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals caused by sun exposure. It inhibits the skins melanin production which helps lighten pigmentation and dark spots on the skin. It also helps to promote collagen production, repair tissue and maintain healthy skin.
Where can I find it?
Vitamin c is found in citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons and grapefruit and in green leafy vegetables too. It super important to get vitamin c into your diet everyday but if you are a fussy eater it can be applied topically in the form of creams and serums!!
How do I use it?
If using a serum , just a few drops is needed and massaged gently into the skin. It can be done once a day with your morning or nightly routine. By introducing vitamin c into your skincare routine you can fight the premature signs of ageing and protect your skin from free radicals and instead have a healthy, dewy glowing skin!!
